You can now earn Skywards Miles on all of your Amazon shopping in the UAE. Over the summer, Skywards added Amazon.ae to the Emirates Skywards Miles Mall as a new earning partner.
This is a lucrative way to earn Skywards Miles if you’re a big Amazon shopper.
How many miles can you earn on Amazon spend?
The amount of Skywards Miles you can earn varies between categories. The range is from 9 Miles per AED 50 to 44 per AED 50. Although there seem to be pretty frequent promotions, keep your eyes open. The earning rate per AED 50 is:
- 44 Miles – Apparel, Luggage, Shoes
- 39 Miles – Book/Ebook, Jewellery, Watch
- 34 Miles – Automotive, Baby, Beauty/Luxury beauty, Health & Personal care, Music instruments, Personal Care Appliance, Sports, Stamps, collectables.
- 24 Miles – Furniture, Music, Office products, Tools
- 19 Miles – Amazon Fresh, Grocery, Home, Major appliances, Outdoor, Pet products, Toys
- 9 Miles – Camera, PC store, Electronics/Mobile Electronics, Video, Video Games, Wireless/Wireless accessory
- 39 Miles – Other categories
How do you earn Skyward Miles on Amazon?
To earn Skywards Miles with Amazon, you need to first visit the Skywards Miles Mall and follow these steps:
- Visit the Skywards Miles Mall
- Log in using your Skywards credentials
- Find the Amazon page on Skywards Miles Mall
- Click on the ‘Shop Now’ button on the Amazon page on Skywards Miles Mall. This will take you to Amazon.ae.
- Log in to your Amazon account and shop as normal.
What I love is that Skywards Miles Malls sends an email confirming your order has been tracked within 24 hours.
A few things to remember:
- You will only earn miles on purchases from Amazon UAE.
- Your web browser must have cookies enabled to track your purchases.
- Skywards Miles can not be earned on cancelled orders or returned purchases.
Also, this is not a quick way to earn miles. It will take up to 46 days for the miles to show up on your Emirates Skywards statement.
Bonus Skywards Miles for first-time shoppers

My experience
In the two months since Amazon was added to the Skywards Miles Mall, I have earned over 3,000 Skywards Miles from Amazon purchases. That is fantastic, as it is for items I planned to buy anyway.
There is no cap on how many Skywards Miles you can earn from your online shopping.
Overall, I expect my Skywards Miles Mall to net about 35-40,000 Skywards Miles over the next 12 months. If I can get Mrs ExpatFlyer to put her shopping through the Skywards Miles Mall as well that could be even higher. It’s a great way to earn on the ground.
