VR headsets in Etihad lounges
During April Etihad Airways is trialing the SkyLights Aero virtual reality (VR) entertainment headsets in the First Class and Business class lounges at Abu Dhabi Airport Terminal 3.
If the feedback is positive the virtual reality headsets may be included in Etihad’s plans for their new lounges in the Midfield Terminal. The long awaited new terminal is due to open in late 2019.
You may need to plan to arrive at the airport a little earlier than usual though. According to SkyLights the average passenger spends 4 hours using the headsets.
