Emirates new uniform
Emirates has unveiled new uniforms for the 145-strong Premium & VIP passenger team at Dubai International. The team is primarily responsible for assisting First Class passengers connecting through DXB. The new design is an evolution of the existing design using the same colour palette.
Riyadh Air delays launch
The start of flight operations at Riyadh Air has been pushed back to the second half of 2025. The delay is due to the late delivery of Boeing 787 aircraft. The airline had expected to receive eight 787 Dreamliners this year but now only expects four deliveries.
Qatar Airways returns to Malta (MLA)
Qatar Airways will resume flying to Malta (MLA) this summer. The route will relaunch on 2 July 2025 with four weekly flights operated by an A320 aircraft.
Etihad Airways release traffic statistics for 2024
Etihad Airways carried over 18 million passengers in 2024. This represents an 80% increase on their 2022 numbers. This phenomenal growth rate is set to continue in 2025. Etihad is planning to add 13 destinations to its route network this year.
