How does the Abu Dhabi Pass work?
All you need to do is present your boarding pass and photo ID, either a paper or digital copy will do. The boarding pass must also be for travel in the previous 30 days to be eligible for a discount.
The Abu Dhabi Pass is open to UAE residents as well as visitors, you just need to have a recent Etihad Airways boarding pass.

My take
I have not had a chance to make use of the Abu Dhabi Pass yet. However, I do remind our family and friends visiting to keep their boarding passes just in case. It would be good to see more venues in other parts of the city added to the list of available discounts and money off.
